Nina will do more to address sexual harassment and assault, starting with our own state leaders and including Congress and President Trump. There should be an immediate and full investigation of every allegation of sexual harassment and assault against Donald Trump, and every member of our state government and the US Congress who has used taxpayer money to settle a sexual harassment case should be exposed – taxpayer dollars should not be used to pay victims for illegal conduct by public officials. New, zero-tolerance policies need to be put in place and enforced to protect against workplace harassment. Stronger penalties are needed for deterrence. Women should never again have to choose between exposing harassment and losing their jobs.
